So Mr. Janitor lived through the Louis era but he is younger than I am at 38...

You are correct. I am confused.

I also like how someone who does not goosestep along with boxing orthodoxy circa 1958 is a troll. Good work, comrade.

    Not realy.

You can compete at heavyweight today if you weigh more than 193 lbs.

That means that most cruiserweights would be eligible at the weigh in never mind fight night.

In the days before roids fighters used to make weight by drinking lots of water before the weigh in then pissing for England.

Back then a fighter could come into a fight looking ripped and still be told afterwards that he had trained like a bum. Max Baer was heavily criticised for his lack of dedication but try to find a modern heavyweight who looks better than him on his off night.

Yeah, you are confused, I haven't said anywhere that Janitor knows more about the Louis era than you OR that he lived through the Louis era...where do you get this stuff from?

I post in the General forum with frequency, often with people who have no idea about boxing circa 1958, and no, I don't regard them all as trolls, this is also something you have made up.

A troll is a person who makes things up to suit themselves, manipulates what's been said to suit their agenda and/or adds little of value to any discussion. If you're struggling to recognise them, using emoticons, often offensive ones, at the end of every single sentence they write whenver they are speaking to someone with whom they disagree is a good tipper (though not definitive).

the majority in this thread is composed of 3 main ingredients :
    1. people who try to seem to understand about boxing (lopsided majority in this forum)
    2. klitschko haters
    3. oldtime nuthuggers (i mean the real hardcore ones) - most of them suppose to be very old themselves but it is not necessary .

Klit-lover doesn't mean literally in love with Vitali Klitschko. It's a reference to a poster who makes exaggerated claims on beahlf of a given fighter - for example your recent claim that Vitali is the greatest heavyweight of all time head to head. This qualifies you as a "Klit-lover" whether you know it or not.

So there are absolutely no posters who speak on behalf of Klitschko who are in any way blinded by bias? This phenomenum can only be observed in Louis supporters?

Have you conceeded, in the light of the primary and secondary sources shown to you that Louis had a 76" reach? Or do you still claim that his reach was 74" as you maintain was previously the case on the Boxrec website, although Boxrec now lists Louis's reach as 76"?
