He isn't going to get anywhere against a defensive brute like Wlad .... Young Wlad he can KO but prime Wlad who knows how Louis fights is a different story

 

Just imagen Wlad from the Haye fight against Louis. Footspeed+reach+height. How would slow foot Louis even manage to come inside of Wlads Jab?

 

Joe Louis KO6 Wlad. Joe was too precise,quick and strong. Wlad would never see the combo that ends him.

Not sure I completely understand what you're saying here, but I have seen both guys fight. Wlad more than Joe.

Wlad's best move was to grab anybody close enough to hit him and lay across their back. That's it. Before Manny taught him to do that he was getting KO'd by relative unknowns. So ok, if they were Wlad's refs and allowed him to do that to the much smaller Joe, it might save him from getting beaten and KO'd.

Wladimir can't afford to have a momentary lapse in focus or it could be bad.

I can see Louis tagging him and putting him in flounder mode, panicking and struggling...

I think Wlad respects Louis enough to stay in careful mode as long as it takes.. Louis can't get close enough and gets whammykablammied.
