    However, the Carnera victory does not get enough praise. In this Louis gives us a glimpse on how he'd tackle the likes of Wladimir. Primo tries his utmost to keep things on the outside while Louis demonstrates the kind of head movement he's not renowned for. It's subtle of course, either ducking to the side or just pulling back so the jab fails. This allows him to remain in striking distance, and when he pulls the trigger there is no preliminary movement. The lightening quick right he decks Primo with in the sixth is superb, thrown directly after weaving under a hook.

    Louis very much knew how to approach bigger men which includes those 'modern super heavies'.
