What eludes you is English reading comprehension since I at no time suggested that Norton was not past prime against Holmes.

I ask you to tell me in what way was that was actually evident against Holmes.
You didn't answer the question. Instead you just stated the obvious about Norton being mid-30s and that after Holmes he didn't do well.

The numbers are somewhat removed from what we are used to see being clocked up by Compubox, but I am less interested in the volumes and more in the comparative numbers.

Assuming the Author has used the same methods to count all the bouts included, the comparisons should be solid.
