Bolcio is backing up and letting Toyogon jab at his head unfettered, clasping each glove on tight like earmuffs and tilting from side to side as they circle in a quiet, lulling rhythm. Bolcio is occasionally planting his rear foot, launching off it and trying for a right hand up top but Toyogon has time simply to step back and let him pierce his afterimage, then resume jabbing and lightly piling on 1-2s from outside.

Round 4

Toyogon is jabbing, moving left, pawing another jab while still laterally mobile, then planting his feet and jabbing some more. Bolcio is taking big swipes up at his chin with lead uppercuts delivered from the far hip, and then uncorking left hooks on rapidly straightened knees. Bolcio is pitching himself inside headfirst in the hopes of striking a flint and setting this match afire, but is tamed by the jab and sidesteps of Toyogon at every turn.

...guess there was a knockdown and/or deduction at some point?

 

Round 5

Toyogon is jabbing into Bolcio's guard and seeing his left fist splash harmlessly off the knuckle pads of both of Bolcio's each time. Both men are content to circle at cruising speed, with Bolcio taking fewer chances but still loading up on big shots with his body torquing in a half-circle like a 1980's action figure with a twisting articulation to "punch". Toyogon all of a sudden lines up the perfect 1-2 he seems to have spent all this set-up time looking for and parks Bolcio firmly on his rear. Not terribly hurt, up quickly, just caught well. Saved by the bell.

10-8 Toyogon

Round 6

Toyogon is all over Bolcio. Jabs, straight rights and uppercuts to head and body. Toyogon chases Bolcio into the ropes and pummels him down on accumulation. Bolcio isn't apt to get up from this knockdown, based on his body language before going down - and indeed he doesn't.

TKO6!!!

 

I have to say, based on today's showings, Noynay looks a lot more impressive and would handily beat Toyogon h2h.

 

Fair result though?
