Not so sure about that. Jirov would have stopped him had that fight been more than ten rounds. Jirov was not much bigger than Charles and Walcott and he wasn't nearly as good. If Jirov could floor him and hurt him that bad then Marciano could without question.

    Really think he gets by
    Walcott
    Charles
    Marciano
    Patterson
    Moore
    Ingo
    Liston
    Baker
    Nino
    Williams
    Folley
    Machen
    Layne
    Lastarza
    Jackson
    Satterfield
Highly unlikely he makes it past half of them.

Of course; Patterson for instance was suffering from Alzheimer's and prostate cancer during Joe's pomp, so I could easily see Mesi edge it.

Walcott and Charles had the notable disadvantage of being deceased in Mesi's prime, thus you would have to fancy Joe against either.

He absolutely destroys guys like Tommy Jackson, Layne, Baber, Ingo and even Moore. If he fights the guys that Marciano faced, in the shape Marciano engaged them, he beats them, too.

    A late 50's Liston is a problem.

    Unconvinced!

Did Holyfield ever lose a fight on cuts?

    I can't prove you wrong.

I can only mount an argument, that it is highly unlikely!

Fun fact, I’m from Mesi’s hometown and went to school with his niece. She was nearly killed in a car accident 2 summers back.
