I like Joe Mesi and he was not a bad fighter. But this is long overdue. If he was my brother or friend, I would have told him never to fight again after the Jirov win. He doesn't need boxing any more, he has bigger fish to fry.

He and Vitali need to start their own political party of boxers who fight, and simultaneously run for office.

Good for him. I hope he follows through with this. Running for office would give him the opportunity to have a meaningful and productive life after boxing as well as the opportunity to better society. By continuing fighting, he would only be hurting himself and risking his life.

    Thats what I call thinking.
He gets elected to the State Senate.
And he gets his supension overturned.
Then he becomes the Fighting Senator.

But on the positive side it would be a great move for him. He needs to stop boxing because he is going to get killed. If politics is his other passion all the best to him.
