American or Eastern European. I have no problem with it BTW. Almost anytime a Russian is fighting somebody, I cheer for the Russian. But Jetski overrates and gets too excited about any white American/Eastern-Euro who shows aggressiveness and any kind of toughness. This thread is just silly.

 

I some-what agree. Jetski is a huge fan of East-European fighters, as am I. But only certain ones for me. Such as the force that is known as Adrian Diaconu. :good

If it was made a few years ago, it wouldn't have been silly. Mesi was a great boxer imo. He has a nice fan exciting style, and a great fan base[im from Buffalo so i know]. But I don't think he should be fighting anymore.

I thought that for some time too. But I HIGHLY doubt it. He like's whatever fighter's that he appeals to the best to and gives him a great excit.

 

Of course he is.. he nuthugs every white fighter and his obsession with Pavlik is more than disturbing.

It would be racist is he was against non-white fighters, but he's not. His Pavlik obsession is extremely annoying though and I can't wait until he finds out how average Pavlik is.

Pavlik is one of the most exciting boxers in the game. He's also prooven to be a fan of polish fighters too. I presume he has SOME Polish in him.
Or, I remember I think he told me his wife was Polish or somthing, which brings him into the Polish boxing fan-base.

But if he is however racist, which I doubt, he doesn't express it. And you cannot ban him for that.

For the record, Joe Mesi has fought 7 times since the Jirov fight.
Check out the current records of his opponents.
4 of them with losing records against mostly inferior fighters.
1 of them on a 4 fight losing streak.
2 of them with winning records over poor club fighters.
His last opponent --- Shannon Miller was 15-3. of those 15 wins, 13 of them with losing records (some with no wins at all).
It is an absolute disgrace to think that Joe Mesi is deserving of a title shot.
To even move up in the ratings, you would think that he would have to atleast defeat a fighter that is ranked higher.
Mesi is currently ranked #53 by Boxing Records which is probably too high based on the calibre of his recent opponents.

The thought of him getting a title shot without paying his dues is absolutely disgusting.
