Joe Mesi vs Chris Arreola

Jirov ****ed up Mesi with a shot to the back of the head, and he was never the same.. the layoff hurt.. oh and that brain bleeding thing.

Too bad, I honestly liked Joe Mesi, he was a fun fighter to watch.. and talent-wise better than Arreola.

 

I don't disagree with you about his chin and stamina, but why do you say his heart is questionable?

 

Arreola would beat the hell out of JM. Joe Mesi is very much hittable.

 

Because fighters who really have heart have it in and out of the ring when it comes to applying themselves to the task at hand. Arreola never even bothered running before training for Vitali.

 

How do you figure that Mesi is a glass chin Fraud? Jirov hit him in back of the head to get him down. Mesi is a lot better than Tye Fields. Mesi defeated Barret who KO'd Fields in one round. Arreola has been down also why doesn't that make him a glass chin fraud?
I like both guys. I am impressed that Arreola got up from the knock down as did Mesi. I am impressed by the power and the way that Arreola puts his punches together. Throughs all kinds of different punches, but I do not share your hatred of Mesi.

Very good post. I was really impressed how Mesi boxed in that fight until round 9 and I had Mesi winning by one point in the end. I was also impressed how he stopped Davryl Williamson in one round. Wlad struggled with Williamson and was even put down by him before winning a tech decision.

 

yeah mesi def had some tools. and his fights were always fun to watch especially since he was the 3rd sports franchise in buffalo. he could put asses in seats up there thats for damn sure
