classy post. After he beats Minto he will probably try to get a title shot overseas imo. He is going ot miss out on cashing out on Rahman by a few months it looks like. Rahman is a brutal KO waiting to happen. Then again, maybe he always was that.
I fully agree. I get a laugh out of the numerous armchair doctors who say Mesi should retire or he'll be killed. As you said, fighters take horrible beatings all the time, and never go get the indepth neurology tests done that Mesi has had done a few times now, and yet these other fighters fight on, and Mesi is told to retire, even though his doctors have said that he's no more at risk than anyone else. To say Mesi should retire could be understandable if your judgement is based on his comeback progressing slowly. But noone on this forum has the medical knowledge to say he should retire out of health risks. Cause educated legit doctors have weighed in on that and said he's fine to fight. I don't think he'll get very far when he finally starts progressing up the ranks of the heavywieghts, but he certianly deserves the chance to try. And who are we to say he should retire? The man has fought like hell to get to fight in the few states he can fight in, and has trained as a pro boxer for years now, and I think he is extremely deserving of a big fight with a big name, assuming he gets past Minto, then someone like Rahman. Go, Mesi............!!!!. This content is protected
