Aside from his choice of football team (which leaves a lot to be desired) he's spot on. Had a bit of a rough time with Bellew and Gavin leaving, but it'll turn around for him I'm sure.
Im a tax payer so im entitled to an opinion. And unlike a lot of the fat old dudes on here... ive trained in some gyms. Who did Murray fight prior to Mitchell? Listen to Arnie on his interviews before the Heffron/Vassell fight and tell me he doesn't sound ****ED. And can you tell me hes been successful with anybody at even british level? U cant! he was a good fighter, just not a very good trainer... Ive seen people here say the daftest things like khan is no good n slating world rated fighters like they've even reached any kind of level other than working a bangers 9-5 job. So you bumboys can suck out n get a bird.... your all ragging this n your computers... 8,000 posts n ****. Get a life gents.
Solid words. I cant talk of the guy in a 121 situation etc etc but he always comes over well and i dunno.........maybe them specs make him look more cooler than cools. As much as i dont like to repeat myself (have posted similar on the subject) and dont go milking cows.......i think the situation he was given so to speak.......was far from easy. 1st stage. Young trainer gets given a fairly experienced camp. Theres a lot of ifs n buts etc be it the manager/promoter maybe......but....he took it on. Maybe he knew previously who he be working with.....i dunno....am just a boxing fan. Looks to me like he got a job......be it one he wanted or was offered and has/had the belief. 2nd stage. The same camp werent used to a new trainer.......let alone a new trainer in the pro game........and situations happen. Did he have previous work as a trainer before working with Vorren ? Some leave......some dont....some join.......as is expected. When i think of Arnie career wise i remember him and Alex Arthur punching people out in the Class of 2000 Sky roundup advert (Robbie Williams - Doing It For The Kids) and i was surprised to see him training fighters etc so early. Refreshing in a way..........he didnt hang around late making up bills etc. I dont think he is gonna go away.......and i like that. Some jamp ship and fair dooz....but he was put in the Pacific.....in a dingy.......and he aint carrying casualties.
Very good post bro, See your point and your right espicially in the final point. Not easy for a young coach in deep waters like the pro game but Arnie looks after his lads well from what i've seen.
This. Given he wasnt an old don kinda thing.......i can see how they (fighters and Farnell) were on a friends situation kinda thing....if that makes sense......given what i read and picked up on (maybe am wrong) Anyways.....they all treading water and still here for us to discuss (no casualties) Good times :thumbsup
Paul Butlers British champ u idiot! Your clearly an attention seeking little kid! Go back to suckin your dad off!
