    If Usyk won't fight Parker

I hope the WBO quickly strips him

I'm backing Parker, as a Parker fan first. But this is how I see/hope it goes down.

Usyk is a fighter who prepares heavily for his opponents, he spent over a year for Chisora for example, and even longer focused on Joshua and Fury. This is compared to Parker who hasn't been on his radar all that long, and its why Usyk likes to fight rematches, they are a lot easier the second time around for him as he doesn't have to learn a new fighter.

Parker has fast hands, faster than Usyk has seen since before Covid, it will be something that Usyk has to prepare for and adjust to at heavyweight. First time Usyk won't have an advantage in handspeed.

Andy Lee is a great tactician who has been looking at Usyk for years, him and Parker will have a decent idea of some holes in Usyk's game that they can work on in camp and exploit in the ring.

Usyk is getting older, he was noticeably a bit stiffer in his movement in the ring, his reaction times and speeds are slower than they were a couple years back. This combined with Parker's speed and their preparation will let Parker get some rounds,

Of course Usyk is the clear favourite, and will adjust and come back stronger afterwards. Then it will be on Parker and Andy Lee to see how they can then adjust and what else they have in their tool bag and that is where the fight will be decided.

It sounds like that that is Frank Warren's plan. Also Usyk doesn't sound keen on fighting Parker at all.

I favour Usyk too but Parker has really come on as a boxer lately and I can see he is using his head a lot more than he used to. Parker will give Usyk a harder fight than Dubois at any rate.

Usyk is faster than Parker. Parker has no realistic chance, he struggled with Jack Massey. Kabayel has a shot against Usyk

Usyk will gladly accept this fight, Parker won't quit like Dubois and **** his pants, the fight will be great, but I still choose Usyk because he's simply unbeatable for now...

This video sums up Parker's problem. He's not aggressive enough in self-promoting, content to hang out at ringside while the totally undeserving Chisora clambers into the ring to pitch himself for a fight.

Parker should be next in line. Nobody wants another Fury match.

Isn't Fury trying to worm his way into Usyk-Fury III? Strictly for the $$$

I don't know but I would totally believe that.

"No man born of his mother ... pure Gypsy fighting man ... scared rabbit ... little gappy tooth ... I can't be beat ... raaargh ..."

... and then Fury pitches up in the walk in weighing 300lb and wobbling like grandma's christmas jelly pudding. No ****ing thank you, I'm tired of Fury. Fight somebody new please for the love o gawd.

Parker is way, way more deserving than Kabayel.

Kabayel's realistically next on the list, but that doesn't mean he's close to Parker - it'd be extremely unfair for Kabayel to get the shot before or instead of Parker.

Kabayel next most deserving after Parker... Yes.

    Close behind?! No, no way.

I think you could make a case for Kabayel, to be fair. He beat Zhang more emphatically than Parker, and that was Parkers best win. Of course, Parker also beat Wilder (but I think we can see that WIlder is pretty much done) and Bakole (but the Bakole win has an * beside it given the circumstances). Parker might have beaten Dubois and its a shame that didn't happen. But it's not so long ago that Parker was get flattened by Joyce, beaten by Whyte and going life and death with Chisora. Kayayel has never lost, and has not yet had a title shot, so you could make the argument for him.

I think Parker and Kabayel both have the same problem though, which is that Usyk can choose who he fights now. And he has earned that right. And a fight with either of those would probably earn him significantly less and generate less excitement with casuals than any of the other big stadium fights being mentioned. Is that unfair? Course it is. But hopefully when Usyk retires or gets stripped the best can fight each other and take the vacated titles.
