Agree with you on Buffer. But Joe Rogan, although painful at times, is very good at what he does :good

That's a very genuine photo. Body language and facial expressions suggest that they are good mates who have a good rapport with each other.

i see this being the best commentary if they were commentating on the overeem vs lesnar and when one of them gets tko/ko'ed,

    Joe "HE'S OUT!! HE'S OUT!!!"
Mike "OH NOOOOOOOOOO IT'S GOODNIGHT IRENE!!!!!!"

I think the best commentator is Jimmy Smith from Bellator.

Goldberg and Rogan work. Goldberg has really settled into his role, he leads the presentation, shout outs the sponsors and generally lets Rogan make all the astute analysis.

Buffer works for that WWE type hype. I wouldn't change the format. These 3 guys have become part of their identity/brand.

Frank Mir would be a great announcer but I think him and Rogan would fight eventually over who can break down a fight the best.

And that's why Rogan and Goldberg work, it still seems like Goldberg is new to the sport even though he has been doing this for many years. I still think Rogan get's too exited if a guy lands a leg kick but he's good for the role.
