Joe Smith Jr. is a throwback Eastcoast brawler. You morons DKSAB. Pavlik and Smith are very similar if you discount the type of competition, they each faced in their respective era's.
Pavlik loss one time and WHITE PEOPLE in The United States threw the man to the ****ing wolves. That's how they do white fighters in boxing which is why so many good fighters went to MMA.
Smith, unlike Kelly, has always been the underdog and still is. Pavlik had was literally the last great American hype that came out of the white, blue collar rust belt. There hasn't been that type of hype since.
Smith Jr. deserves better in my opinion. He made it without the HBO machine and still so-called boxing fans treat him like trash. Shame on you all.
