    Had a flick through boxrec earlier and saw this fight is on for the now vacant WBO light heavyweight title.

    Hadn't heard of Maxim before but looking at his record and watching highlights on YouTube he looks good. His fight with Gilberto Ramirez looked very close.

    Joe Smith Jr is a good fighter too, I would like to see him win a title. What do you all think?

    People underrating Vlasov like they underrated Smith. I think this is basically a pick em' fight. Stylistically intriguing matchup. Very good fight though.

    I can't get my head around someone knowing of Smith but not Vlasov. :dunno Take it you don't follow non-U.S. boxing media like, at all? :lol:

    I'm taking Vlasov by decision, if he can avoid getting knocked cold I think he'll outbox Joe. However my actual prediction is that the fight gets called off or pushed back like all of Vlasov's fights have been recently

    I like Joe and my bias shows,,, I do think that Joe will get to him. It's one thing to figure Joe out, it's quite another to do something about it.
