Joe Smith vs Callum Johnson is set for January 15th

I used to be real high on Smith and he just never did anything.
Then he basically got his cash out fight with Canelo and he didn't even try to win.
I hope Smith knocks him out to be honest as Smith always tries to win and Smith to me is a sell out.

 

Love watching both fighters so great matchmaking

Johnson looked very average on his last outing however and im wondering if he has gone past his prime

Joe Smith biggest win is against B-hop but i don't rate it very high.Because,that was the right style to beat B-hop.
Ill explain:Hopkin fought alots of style throuhout his career...but never fight a pressure fighter like Smith,Callum J. or Beterbiev.
I mean a fighter who isn't afraid to receive his feathers fist punch in the face.And apply constant pressure,trap him.That's the only three guys that come to my mind.As for Johnson,well i haven't see his last fight...somes posters here say that was a poor showing from his part.But,
He fought Beterbiev...that was a very dangerous fight,so i have to give him more credits than Joe.Joe never fight a pressure fighter like him.
Vaslov was a good win abeilt a controversial one.So this fight is very intriguing...prediction:Smith via KO in 10rds

 

Yeah, you have to lean towards Smith.... That being said.

Johnsons inactivity could benefit him here potentially though, eventually all of those wars are going to catch up to Smith.

 

Alvarez and Vlasov(although I don't see that as a clear Smith win like you said) are both better wins than grandpa Hopkins.

 

Alvarez win are not a good win,i don't rate it.Because i know him very well,he can be very lazy in the ring as his trainer said(Marc Ramsay).
He got beat by Kovalev in the rematch pretty handily.He was lazy again in this fight.

 

Yeah, fair.... But it's still a better win than a 51 year old Hopkins lol.
