E-Hearn/DAZN offering Smith a fortune to fight 168 pounder Danny Jacobs who has never fought at 175 which has thrown a spanner in the works of a mouthwatering bombs away unification war for the ages between him and Beterbiev with three of the four belts on the line He's trying to line up 168 pounder Juan Ryder for a shot at Bivol's WBA 175 strap too And don't think I don't I see what you're up to with Buatsi, E-Hearn you debonair snake. I see you. Bivol needs to stop being so trustful and believing that serpent has his best interests at heart. Same goes for Usyk.
I like those fights. Pretty evenly matched scenarios considering Jacobs is moving up. I would prefer Beterbiev v Smith but I still don't mind those two fights for Joe.
Promoters and boxers want the path of least resistance and easy money, why put smith or bivol against beterbiev and lose a belt? Make money by fighting lesser opponents and then “ marinate “ the big fight, or maybe jacobs and ryder win and lololol.
Bob’s really out here treating smith like he’s the best lightheavyweight he has and treating artur like **** on his shoe, for shame arum for shame.
continue’s to get ****ed around by every promoter he works with until Father Time makes him old enough for people to grow the balls to step in and try and cherry pick him. that would be my guess.
Joe Smith is easier to market and is younger. Bob is courting the wrong guy. With proper marketing Beterbiev could have been pitched as the next Golovkin. Arum is a snake too.
And this is why you take what these promoters say when it pertains to a fighter on another network with a grain of salt. Here Eddie complains about Wilder/Fury holding up unification in the division but yet he throws a wrench in Bob Arums plans of Beterbiev vs Smith unification by forcing Top Rank to match his offer for the Jacobs fight. Why not offer Beterbiev a fight with Bivol since it’s all about the best fight the best right.?
Good to see Smith in action although I would have preferred different opponents such as Beterbiev or a go around again with Bivol.
