Thats a tough one. I think both guys are at the same level with "Daddy" being a possibily better striker. I thought his stand up vs Penn wasnt that bad. His submission game isnt as polished as Serra`s but his no slouche on the mat. If i had to choose id probably go for Joe his more athletic and just seems better overall as a whole.

Yeah Stevensons standup is alittle more techniqual and better then Serra but Serra seems to have legitmate KO power so this is a intresting fight. I hope Serra goes back to 155 to give himself a better chance in his fights.

Man, I think this would be a good fight. Both are similiar size and body type. I'd give Stevens the edge standing and Serra the edge in Jits. Stevens has the youth, Serra has the experience. I think this fight would be very competitive at 155 (if Serra can still get down to it). I wouldn't mind seeing it one bit.

Should be a very good matchup. I would like to see Matt Serra move down to lightweight as i think the weight class is more suited to his height and i think he would be able to make more of an impact there.
Also if he does move down and BJ Penn stays at lightweight, there could be a potential rematch between the two. I'm sure these two could stir up some bad blood and make the fight very exciting as both are very outspoken and emotional guys.

Joe seems like quite a good guy whos confident in his abilities. Serra is just a whining *****. He doesnt have much good to say about anyone.

you can see his point about the GSP thing. He wins the title, then GSP says he didnt train or some ****, its basically gets called a one off (which it now seems to be). Also he didn't get any fights during his two fights with GSP whereas GSP fought Koscheck and Hughes. He was pretty much left out of it.
Was he injured during that period or did he just not get the fights?

Joe would probably end up in Serras guard dropping elbows and punches until its stopped.
