I know Pavlik is one-dimensional and everything but still that was a better fight and Pavlik was interested to make it happen, why go after an old Jones in a fight he'll get 0 credit for in the long run?

Yeah but Hopkins was coming off serious wins and his sneaky style is difficult for anyone despite his age. Jones though will just go back to the ropes when tired and eat one shot after another.

 

He most definitley will do some of that at the start but once he feels those slaps are not a threat, he'll turn it up and start flowing with the combinations.

 

Trust me man, those slaps will be a threat and are dangerous. I'm a huge Roy fan so being too nervous here can be understood.

 

Agreed, this is a very winable fight for Jones.
