Sorry to sound negative, but talking about "who really won" almost makes you seem sad. Close shitfights dont have "real winners." Hopkins was there to cheat his arse off. With Cortez as ref it was not a bad plan. But Slappy slapped away, at all ranges and in all situations, as he always does, and it earned him a close SD, even if he looked like **** much of the time. It's nothing to cry about.

Defending Calzaghes win over Hopkins is almost as sad as trying to say Hopkins was robbed. To be honest, I dont have any excuse to why I participate in this debate at all.

    I gave Hopkins 1 round.

I am not American and not English and dont care who would win, but Hopkins just hardly threw a punch all night long.

Get over it... Calzaghe won a close, ****, depressing fight, they cancelled each other out... Hopkins landed the better single punches but they were extremely rare, Calzaghe outworked him & pushed the pace to the point were Hopkins was faking injury trying to catch a breath, that in itself was enough to separate these 2 in this type of fight.

In reality I wouldn`t watch this fight again unless you paid me but the twice I did watch it I had it close for Calzaghe, it was quantity over quality, not always my criteria but in this case there was simply not enough quality from Hopkins to say he beat the quantity of Calzaghe.

Just because you are Canadian does not mean that you scorecard is unbiased. I hated Bhop back then and I still had him winning, to say he won one round YDKSAB or you are bias as a MOFO.

I feel ya, I think I come on these threads because I am so tired of the Pac/PBF BS and the K2 threads. I DO not like Bhop, Calslappy or RJJ so I get tired of this garbage pretty quickly.

Joe Calzaghe vs Chris Eubank..? was Calzaghe's biggest win you ****ing mong.

Hopkins ruined the fight, by acting like a shitbag.

Bhop fought his typical Spoiler type fight. Eubanks, yeah you fools pull out well past prime and weight drained Chris out all the time. How many fights did he win after fighting again? How many did he fight at SMW again? oh, I thought so. The only good fighter Joe beat in their prime was Kessler.

BTW, Bhop has ten times the legacy as Eubanks. Bhop>Calslappy Bhop>> Eubanks and out of the whole lot Chris was my favourite

I hate both their styles. The only good fights I saw of Bhop was his beat down on Tito and Pavlik. I could not watch slappy at all with all the slapping and BS stoppages . . . the Kessler fight was alright I guess

Legendary performances according to Hopkins fans:
    1) Hopkins fighting like a complete disgrace against Calzaghe and losing clearly
    2) Hopkins fighting Antwon Echols, who apparently is a legend too

    Calzaghe won, close but clear

If Hopkins did more then I could understand your argument but he ruined the fight with his dirty tactics, rolling around, clinching and headbutting, low punch output

The worst of Joe at a new weight still won the fight. Hopkins fans just mad that there boy was made to look a ******
