Father vs. son? Actually Marvis has a real good shot. Since Joe was long retired & shot. Seriously, you are asking prime vs. prime? No way on earth. Joe trained Marvis to fight as the uber-aggressive swarmer he was. This did not make best use of his skills, though Marvis was good. Only question is if Marvis had a very different approach & trainer COULD he have been competitive with prime Joe Frazier. Still that seems a stretch.
