    Joseph Ward is a 20 year old Light Heavyweight Southpaw from Ireland who will be turning pro this month at the AIBA Professional Boxing Competition on October 24th. Joe is a standout talent from the WSB, the same competition that brought us Usyk Gvozdyk and Lomachenko. Joe has a very entertaining style yet is defensively responsible. He's a decorated amateur Gold at 2011 Ankara European Amateur Championships at LMW, Gold at the Baku Youth World Championships at MW and Gold at the 2009 Yerevan Junior World Championships but was controversially left off the 2012 Olympic Team. He's incredibly skilled and depending on who signs him he may be fast tracked like Loma this kid has what it takes to be a standout potential star although he needs to work on his stamina. Ward is yet another reason why the Light Heavyweight Division is shaping up to be the best division in the sport in the coming years.:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb

    The victory over Mekhontsev that General's been crowing about! (the Chemistry Cup though? Am I the only one who finds the idea of a boxing trophy called the 'Chemistry Cup' just a little... well :lol:)

    Nah. Ward looks to be a decent fighter and has performed superbly as a Junior and to get a Bronze in the seniors at 19 suggests he is something pretty special. Much as it may be fun to tease the General the kid is a real talent - let's see how he develops from here on in.

    Joe Ward is basically like a young Joe Calzahge slash Roy Jones if you mixed the two together to make one fighter to be honest. And im not one to overhype fighters
