Boxing can learn a hell of a lot from these guys regarding building fights and boxers profiles through social media.


Compare the fights between KSI v Weller and Parker v Fury and viewership and production wise they are not even close.

Let's get this right.....

Two guys that have never been in the ring, have produced an event of better quality with a larger viewership, than a world champion in the heavyweight division.

 

I've been to hundreds of amateur shows and watched far worse technically, that was very watchable and reasonably clean for two men with zero boxing experience.

The referee was very good also, I'm betting he was far better than what we will get later tonight.

I'm a bit of a fan of True Geordie and Lawrence and thought they did OK even though you could tell Geordie was well involved in the fight, he was watching it and not really commentating.. yet they were still miles better than Watt and Halling.

I am still surprised at how many tickets it sold and how much interest there was, I am sure we will see quite a few more of these types of events now.
