Dubois stock went up last night. He made a decent fight of it for a bit whereas Joyce dismantled Parker from round 2 onwards. Frank should be looking to step him up against a top 10ish heavyweight again. As long as its not a Joyce rematch.
I’ve always thought that Dubois is solid, he was just matched with Joyce way too early in his career.
Not surprising but there's more to boxing than just power as Joyce himself pointed out. Power alone can only take you so far, Dubois will need to show more than he has to be seen as a threat to the top guys.
Most Parker fans would agree Dubois hits harder. @Safin I don't know what's making you start all these threads bashing Parker, it's not like even his fans actually thought he was the best HW or anything. We were just willing him to do well. He did better vs Joyce than against Junior Fa and quite a few others, even if he won those, so it's not like he had a terrible performance last night or was "exposed". If that happened, it happened long ago.
I didn't know that it wasn't allowed to post about a bout that had just taken place hours ago. Paint Dry is a boring boxer who should never have been taken seriously in the first place at the top level. He will rack up more losses if he faces legitimate opposition and not the likes of Cojanu, Winters, Takam, Leapai, Flores, Fa and other such useless opposition.
