i dont see woods being his last opponent but its possible, likely even, but i think joe would like his last 1 to be a huge 1 in vegas,i think calzaghe would pick hopkins then pavlik if he had the choice, time will tell.

    My "dream":

    Calzaghe-Hopkins in the US
    AND
    Dawson-Woods in Britain

    and then winner vs. winner.

and THEN: Ring champion = best LHW

Joe shouldn't be so greedy, leave Pavlik to Kessler. :smoke

thats something i never considered actually

i have stated that i wanted JC to fight Hopkins in the States then have a homecoming fight vs Woods in Wales and then to retire

but of course Woods isn't going to sit around idle whilst JC whoops the Old ******* so he could indeed fight Dawson

Dawson would win that one and would have a big enough name to perhaps make a fight with Calzaghe feasible...

    class :good

    1) Joe beats Hopkins

    then

    2) Joe beats winnner of Woods vs. Dawson

    then

    3) Joe either:
    a. Fiights Pavlik, if ihe's still undefeated
    b. Retires if Pavlks star has fallen

The problem with Dawson fighting Woods before Joe is a man called Adrian Diaconu, who is still Dawson's mandatory...Dawson couldn't fit in these three fights in a year, could he? (That would be a hell of a year for Dawson if he did, though!:yep )

I'd rather see Calzaghe face Dawson even more than Hopkins.

I said to my crystall ball: "But we would all rather he fought Dawson...!"

It answered: "Sorry, no can do...!"

I like Bute and I know you're a big Bute fan but do you honestly think he could beat Calzaghe? And what about Bute-Pascal?

I will tell you what Bute said: "I still need a couple of fights before I can compete with the likes of Joe or Mikkel"...:deal

If they fought in Spring, Bute would give the performance of his life and lose 9 rounds to 3 or 10 rounds to 2.

Bute v. Pascal will not happen earlier than 2012, I don't think...and then in a massive, end of career-type big bash for a lot of money, in Montreal...in front of 30,000 people...at the moment I have to go with Bute though...but Pascal is younger...

I would love to see Bute-Pascal sooner but you're probably right it won't happen until much later in their careers. It would be a megafight for Canada that's for sure. Are these two friends or have they ever called each other out like Pascal did to Green?

Bute never calls people out...it's just not his style...he is better than that...

I think Pascal said he would beat Bute...if I remember correctly.

Bute said that ...he would only express an opinion on the fight once it was made... .

    Bute is a class act!;)
