:good 100%,but Prepare For A Probable-'its Makes No Difference To Us,were All Fair Here'-denial From The Americans.:yep
Put it this way Pavlik is already accepted as the real deal and he hasn't even defended his title yet. Calzaghe had to beat Hopkin's to earn respect, now he has he's still not getting any.
I think the calibre of fight he has had might not be enough to cement his legend status, however how long he held the belt for and retiring undefeated (if he does) will help his claim
Why? Because he wasted his prime defending a poor belt while never fighting outside of his backyard. Joe had a lot of talent, he deserves elite status talent wise; but he didn't rise to the challenge. If he took more risks he wouldn't have a perfect record but he would have a lot more respect.
you guys are crazy. Joe is already a sure-fire hall of famer in the US and recognized as one of the best british fighters ever Also Fat Joe if you think that most americans think PAvlik is better than Calzaghe, then you are delusional. Make a poll and see the outcome. Joe gets a ton of recognition, but in order to be a full blow legend you must accomplish more than he has, no matter where you're from.
If I'm wrong I hold my hands up, there seems to be a lot of people on here who think he'll steamroller Calzaghe
Select knowledgable fans like yourself know the truth Pharoaoh, but it wont be the consensus.Wrong side of the Atlantic.
make a poll and find out. There is already 75% of ESB that thinks Kessler would beat Pavlik, yet you believe they think Pavlik is better than Joe?
Its amazing how European fighters have to leave their backyard to be considered top class, but Americans don't have to do the same! I do find it bizarre that people think Kessler would beat Pavlik yet Pavlik would beat Joe!
dont even start with the US is huge ****! Joe..a Welshman fought numerous English fighters in England, which is a much more hostile atmosphere than any american stadium.
