Joe will probably fight at least twice more

  1. He pretty much admitted this on BBC news this morning after getting off the plane so assuming he fights twice more any of Jones, Pavlik, Taylor, Tarver, Dawson would be nice.

Personally I want to see him beat Pavlik & Tarver because of the style or maybe Glen Johnson a close 3rd; I've always liked the man.

for me its tarver and pavlik, Pavlik mainly, although Im not sure we will ever get rid of the doubters. The Hop fight wasnt pretty, but beating Pavlik, which many have a hard-on for, would be a good way to further cement his name in history.

    And he beats Pavlik UD

I foresee, at the VERY LEAST two more fights, Joe has fought his entire career to be in the position he is in now, i dont think it will be easy for him to give it up...

I hope he doesn't take one fight too many. If he has 2 more then that's 47 wins and old Rocky's record suddenly looking mighty close...

I'd like to see Calzaghe take a big payday in Cardiff and then call it quits. Honestly, can there be many people out there with opinions on his legacy that will change because of his next fights?

For me, Joes place in the HOF has long been secure, but i still feel he has the abilty to cap off his career with some final good fights.

RJJ and/or Pavlik/Tarver/Dawson would be a good way to go out.

Personally I think it would be in Joe's best interest to cash out with RJJ, and then retire. However there may be more signifigance to Abraham/Miranda than what meets the eye. If Miranda wins, no one will care about Pavlik/Abraham. That would open the door to Calzaghe/Pavlik. Right now Pavlik and Calzaghe's schedules and agendas do not line up at all, but if Arthur loses that could change. In the past Calzaghe said he would move back down to 168 to fight Pavlik, and Pavlik's plans to move up have been clear for a long time. With Pav moving up, and Joe moving back down, both guys would need a little time to adjust to the weight, but we could see this fight around the end of the year, but only if Miranda beats AA. The one thing I DO NOT want to see is Pavlik/Calzaghe after Joe is so far past his best that the fights becomes meaningless.
