According to the BBC and Box Rec?

Know he was in some tear ups in the past with Katsidis and Corrales, but he's 38 now and this smacks of the Barrera type fight (Quality name but 5 years ago!).

    Good fight, bad fight?

Casamayor should give a better account of himself than Barrera did. His reflexes the last few times out didn't seem totally depleted.

I still think Khan will have too much in terms of youth, speed, and athleticism, but this will be by far the best technical boxer Amir has ever faced, and someone who even well past prime and above peak weight can still pack a bit of a punch.

It will be a good one.

I'm actually feeling quite amazed that you had to even ask that question. If this fight takes place it is a complete and utter disgrace and I hope that the TV companies reject it. Casamayor is shot to **** and this is just a blatent attempt by Golden Boy Promotions to get another "name" on his record so the US public takes an interest in Khan.

A sick fight from a company who are going down in my respect, quickly.

Casamayor looked "shot to ****" exactly once, when he squeaked past Jose Armando Santa Cruz in a poor decision in 2007. He's fought three times since to disprove the notion.

He isn't what he was in his prime, but he's able to defend himself and make it an interesting night for even world class operators. Could Khan have found a better challenge? Sure. Many worse ones though.

And I for one will be rooting heartily for El Cepillo to pull the upset.

another case of khan beating up a smaller fighter, i hope casa punishes khan for this!

so does that mean we'll get katsidis fighting marquez next? good fight imo.

We'll have to agree to disagree with his last fight against Jason Davis in his last fight. Yes he won, and by a wide margin, but I thought the win looked laboured at time and he looked as slow as ****. I think Khan takes him out in Round 1.

old, smaller and shot to bits....the typical KHAN opponent. Is anyone surprised if this happens?

Hopefully Casamayor at least doesn't lie down like his countryman Kindelan did against Khan.

    **** fight.

Katsidis is the better of the two fights, at least he's live and in decent form.

Any idea where it will be. It clashes with the WBC night of champions in Cardiff.

It's just like you said. The MAB fight was good given the timing of their careers. It was a 50-50 fight going in. This is not the case now. He is a champion and should fight like one. Casa is a good name on paper but not in the ring. He could cause some upsets though. If Khan gets cocky and he eats a cheeky right hook counter.

****s sake Amir that belt around your waist says WORLD CHAMPION. Fight other LWW champs or top rated LWW contenders not ancient light weights

I try and try to like this kid but when will he fight someone dangerous ??????? You want to beat up on old guys half your size ? Fine give up the belt and go back to being a contender.

It'd be easy to slag Khan here but I'm gonna refrain.

This isn't a 'real' fight he's just trying to squeeze a keep busy fight in before his extended break, it's almost old school.

There's no way he was ever gonna fight Alexander, Maidana or Bradley as early as July so it was always going to be a step down or two.

I'm ok with it, but I'll tell you one thing, there's no way I'll be paying PPV for a pretty worthless fight.

This is a **** fight, and I won't be watching it. I don't care if its PPV or normal Sky.

    Khan: Bigger, stronger, faster, younger.

The result of this fight is fairly predictable. I think even Darni would agree that they're taking the **** with this one.
