come on boys, every boxer needs a easy fight or 2 with smaller men who can't punch, khans just had 20 odd:D

in all seriousness, its not all that bad of a fight for khan.just a real soft option, anyone who thinks casa is the fighter he was 3 or 5 years ago, needs to have a long hard look at themselfs in the mirror:thumbsup

as for MAB,i had him winning the fight beforehand, but i went off the old MAB, not the OLD shot MAB,my bad homo:hi:

Just about sums it up and is even less pretty when it's there in black & white.
He cannot keep picking to order and even Prescot would have been a better fight than this....I cannot see this on PPV and easy to see why the match was made in the UK .The only interest will be to see if the chin is tested.

Khan will never be taken seriously until he has got in the ring with Maidana,Alexander or Bradley, though kudo's to FR for getting him to where he is after the Prescot farce.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, there's certainly been worse 'filler' fights.

Casamayor is a goldenboy fighter, I think they're basically gonna feed him to their lion. I'd have preferred him to fight Katisidis or Prescott, but wasnt to be. Its a tune up/stay busy fight, and is a million times better than fighting Sosnowski. Casamayor is a wily old customer, but i cant see it being anything more than a repeat of the Paulie-Khan fight, unless of course Freddie Lets Khan off the leash earlier, then we can see a barnstormer like Khans days under Oliver Harrison.

He was the most exciting fighter i'd ever seen at that stage of their career back then, say what u like about the opposition and their weight divisions, but his fights against Gomez, Limond and Earl were awesome Domestic matches.

I hope the undercard is good.
If its a goldenboy card, then who would they bring over to London?

Its gonna be a double header with Diaz-Marquez II, its possible the fight may happen in Las Vegas as the chief support to that fight, as goldenboy dont have a British License. but i hope not.

Possible fighter could be Hayemaker and Hatton fighters being on the undercard, also the likes of Craig Mcewen, Dean Byrne and Jamie Kavanaugh.

My guess would be that they would co-promote with Hatton. And it would be a case of who they can afford depending on the TV Budget from the US and UK.

Anyway I don't mind this fight it's only a 2 month gap between Paulie and this one and Casamayor isn't a bad name considering the short turnaround. After that though I would expect to see him in with one of the other big 5 fighters at 140lbs.

If he did you'd probably be saying he chose the easier option by ducking the Klitschko's and Haye.

I can see ITV getting it again even with the Timezone being better this time. It depends on whether Team Khan will demand too much like they did with the Mallignaggi fight or will realise that for Sky it isn't a big earner.

Mallignaggi is at least a name people have heard of due to Hatton. But people have no clue who Casa is. Combine that with Skys ever increasing lack of satisfaction at Khan's previous opponents when on SBO and that without Warren theres no Olympians for the undercard which works well with joe public.
