I can't really make picks on Khan until I assess whether Khan's huge improvements are reality or simply hyperbole. It's very difficult to say just yet, having not fought a world class fighter, and his fight against Barrera was very difficult to gauge because of the circumstances.

After he fights Kotelnik I'll have a good idea, its important to see how he moves and how he protects himself, how he fights to whatever gameplan.

As for Casamayor, he's still an awkward southpaw, he can still be dirty at times, he can still pick a punch with decent power. Physically he's pretty far removed.

 

Casamayor still packs a decent punch and if a shot Barrera can buckle Khan's legs then Casa sends Khan to the floor.

 

khan should not be fighting for a world title only 2 fights ago he got knocked out he will never be a great champion khan might be lucky to pick up a couple of world titles but he will be knocked out every time he fights a good fighter or even a good top 10 fighter

 

casa i think could spark him. very good counterpuncher, against a guy who has a hard time deciding what his fight plan is.

height i dont think will be an advantage the speed is only useful if you can get out in time. and a southpaw would never work well.

yeah i think casa could stop him mid rounds.

 

If Khan did stay at LW then, for me, this was the obvious next step for him. It would have been a great fight to actually see how close or far he was against the more established names in the division.

 

Casamayor big KO imagine he landed some of they huge shots he landed on Katsidis on Khan Huge KO.

 

Casa by stoppage and i think due to styles make fights it wouldnt be that hard of a fight.

I'd lean towards Casamayor, but I don't think it would be a walkover. Khan has big physical advantages in this fight, but my gut says Casamayor stops him late on.

 

Khan would have a chance if he fought solely on the outside... any infighting and I feel Casamayor would take him to the cleaners. Far too ring savvy, knows many tricks and sneaky dirty moves to hussle Khan. And his decent dig would probably take out Khan. So in short if Khan stayed on the outside using his speed moving in and out with his flurries. He would then have a chance.
