guzman should win. but casa has always looked sharp. never truely dropped skill wise. he was always going to have problems with marquez.

love to see him pull this off.

I think that whatever decline Casa has experienced, has been in terms of movement. In his prime he was great at judging distance, just being a few inches out of range then slipping inside. His legs are a lot heavier these days, and he usually plants his feet - this makes him easier to hit, but ironically, it's also given him a shade more power in the left hand. I think this is because now he doesn't really throw punches when he's in flux, its always from a firm, centred base, so they seem to have a little more purchase on them. But maybe I'm just imagining it!

But yeah, skills wise, he's still got all the wiley tricks. The guy is a master boxer with a massive amount of experience. He's been in with a lot of very good fighters, and a few great ones also. Hopefully he can beat Guzman, but its a big ask at Casa's age, against a guy with a purportedly good chin and quick handspeed. I won't be betting against Casa though.

Wow nice fight! Two technical, slick guys going at it. Although Casita is past his prime I love this fight.

According to the scene, this fight is not happening. They are now discussing Guerrero-Casa. Guzman turned down the fight. It's time for Alexander to start mentioning him because he has no opponent for August and if he really thinks he's the best, fighting and beating Guzman would certainly prove that.

Casamayor has been on the slide for the last 4 years and even 2 years ago he was not the same Casamayor what makes you think at 39 and 2 years older hes gonna be fresh and hes moving up again. I think Guzman wins this handily.

guerro is arguably a better sub. i dont like this. southpaw vs southpaw almost always leads to the inside fighter winning it. or atleast the one with he higher workrate.

Now this one is a little more evenly matched since Guerrero just recently moved up again and hes not as fast as Guzman. I still dont think Casamayor would win but it would be close hed take and early lead but Guerrero would even it up by the late rounds and finish strong to take a close but convincing decision.
