Tough call... Casamayor is a natural SFW, JMM is a natural FW so there’s a good physical advantage for Cepillo at any weight.

But let's not get carried away... Casamayor defeated a very exciting and brave, but extremely hittable and wide open to counter-punches Katsidis... JMM is in the same league as Santa Cruz, just much better in every way exists except maybe physical strength.

135 is way too much for JMM, but given his speed, defense, underrated power (rocked MAB and PacMan a few times at SFW), I believe he can get a decision against a less active Casamayor. You won't counter-punch the best counter-puncher in the game and jumping on JMM is another bad thing... And I’m saying that after I picked (okay, wasn't absolutely sure) Joel to defeat Katsidis...

So size is in the favor or Joel, style and age is in the favor of JMM... It's a very tough call and maybe impossible to answer unless we'll see what's Marquez capable of at 135... but if he can adapt to the new weight, its JMM UD for me...

 

That's right at least JMM will have the best leverage for a better deal.

Casa is 5'7"; Katsidis is 5'7" and JMM is 5'7" . . . was too big ???

Too skilled ???? Didn't you see how the slow Katsidis was able to tag Casamayor repeatedly? Casa during his prime will beat JMM but not the Casa that showed up against Sta Cruz and Katsidis.
