Joel Casamayor vs Juan Manuel Marquez

JMM will not be fighting Casamayor anytime soon because Pacquiao is the ONLY person JMM wants to fight.. No one else.. and JMM being superior to Pac? You can say they were evenly matched if you want, but if JMM was superior to Pac, he'd have two wins and some KD's..

 

JMM is an excellent and very accurate counter-puncher. That's his only advantage. Casa is stronger, harder puncher, has way more experience and is willing to break the rules when necessary. Plus he's a very underrated boxer.


He looked so vulnerable, yes, especially against Katsidis. But hey, if JMM's fans believes the crap that he risked his mug more against Jandaeng and Jaca just to be a more attractive opponent for Pac, then it can also be said that Casa did just the same so he can also get a big-money fight with anyone with a name from 130 to 135 (Pac and MAB for example).


That being said, it can be a violent one to watch. Casa by veryclose decision. Probably the only margin was that JMM is bothered by a headbutt induced cut late in the fight and lost the later rounds.
