Joel Casamayor vs Juan Marquez Oct. 11

As much as I like Marquez I don't think that he could be Casamayor ... I think Casamayor is a good boxer ... he also is very cagey ... and add to that he's a southpaw ... and Marquez has shown his trouble with the southpaw stance and the straight left hand.

Jaca, Jandang, and Pacquiao all gave Marquez trouble with their southpaw style.

A vet like Casamayor won't be easily moved and it would be very hard to box him ... you have to be aggressive, pressure him and not give him room to breathe ...

Plus Marquez is moving up in weight and hasn't shown much power and a slight decline in speed. Casa has been fighting at lightweight for quite some time now. Also after watching that Pacquiao v Marquez II fight over I noticed a slight decline in endurance in the latter rounds ...

Casa by late rounds stoppage or UD ...

Casa is happy for a big payday and will show up ... as much as I don't like this guy and as much as I like Marquez ... I have to be honest with my prediction.

Boxrec has Casa v Juan Diaz 13th Sept with Katsidis v Jesus Chavez too ?

 

Personally I see Juan Diaz or JMM beating Casamayor.
