Two Cuban Olympic gold medalists. You have Casamayor who as the slick crafty southpaw while Gamboa was aggressive with very quick hands and explosive power although technically flawed and reckless at times. Both at their best who would you say has the upper hand at Super Featherweight?
I don't think it would be easy for Joel, even if Gamboa was likely better at 126. Joel was not that dominant, He would often struggle even against guys He was big favorite against, like Roberto Garcia, Nate Campbell, later on Raiymkulov or Santa Cruz - but what He was really good at was finding a way to win, so smart pick would be him using his reach advantage to outscore smaller Gamboa also.
