I'm almost certain Casamayor's consistent dirty fighting would bother Naseem. He certainly didn't like the rough stuff from McCullough or Soto.
Very tough matchup for Naseem. Casamayor was rough, wiley, had a good range-seeking jab with the lovely left straight following it. Also possesed with a fantastic set of whiskers. Casamayor Decision Prime for Prime, though you can never count out a man of Naseem Hamed's power and awkwardness.
Hamed was a small 5'4 featherweight who moved up from Bantam so Casa's rangyness and speed presents a problem. At their best both are very slick, that is something that is seriously underrated in Hamed's ability. Casa could also be ahead and get caught with a huge shot, and more often than not Hamed had a way of springing unorthodox brutal hayemakers out of nowhere. Its a really hard fight to predict, but I think a prime Hamed is a greater talent than Casamayor
I have to say although short Hamed was a beast of a FW. His legs were like tree trunks (of course a major factor in his punching power) He was a teenager at Fly, Bantam and Super Bantam. He was clearly a natural Feather. Casamayor at his best at 130 though, so is this fight agreed for a 128 lb catchweight???
