can't believe he quit against Collazo. In the little video montage he was hitting the speedbad talking about all the titles he was going to get and then he just quits.

Unless he can perform a brain transplant, it won't do any good.

When a boxer quits not once but twice he needs to hang it up. Ortiz will quit again when face with adversity.

Ortiz is smart enough to seek another big payday, if he takes a job and makes $3000/month, in 3 years he will barely make 100,000. Boxing still a better option for him

Thoughts? I think Victor should retire and enjoy life.

Ortiz needs some serious inspiration to ever come back. I mean go to the mountains of the far east for a couple years and train with monks and up his mental game. Start him off with a scrub and slowly build him up, non punchers and all. He can get another payday with a Berto rematch.

Glad to see him keep fighting (although that is entirely contradictory to my usual opinion on fighters and retiring; I don't think getting punched in the face can make Ortiz have any less brain function, at this point). He is always in the most dramatic fights...

Would like to see him against the big names before years' end. All or nothing. Give me Ortiz vs. Broner, Khan, Maidana II, Josesito II, Berto II, Soto Karass, or Danny Garcia.
