I'm surprised that this fight has gotten NO mention! Its the U/C fight to Adamek-Arreola, and it could be an interesting fight. Angulo figures to break Julio down and stop him, but he'll have to take some shots in the process, and Julio can punch. Still... Angulo KO 6.
I think the reason not many people are talking about this is because we all know Julios chances arent very good. I mean yes he is a puncher but he will be there with a bigger stronger version of himself with the same style as his. So basically he will lose the fight. Really no chance of an upset.
Angulo can be hurt though. Both Richar Gutierez and Cintron both buzzed him. Now Julio doesnt hit as hard as Cintron, but he does hit alot harder then Gutierrez. For that reason, its a compelling fight. Its also compelling because it'll give us a guage of how Angulo compares to James Kirkland.
It cant be any worse than Kirkland Vs Julio...The fight was awful but not Kirklans fault. I think Julio finally realized that he cannot box so I hope he comes out slugging like the old Julio.
If the Julio that showed up for Kirkland shows up for Angulo, then I say Angulo Ko 7 maybe Ud Julio if the Ko doesnt come early. But if Julio shows up in shape and motivated Ill say, Julio Ko 10 Angulo. If Julio wins, his double in pro exerience would be the deciding factor.
No way Julio wins man. He doesnt punch that hard at 154. He did at 147 but i believe he lost power moving up. Also Angulo has a pretty damn good chin. Angulo is just a bigger stronger version of Julio. I agree with you this will be a pretty brutal fight but i believe its going to be mostly one way action.
Angulo is on a mission to prove that the loss to Cintron was due to him not being at his best. El Perro has been looking mad focused in his last couple of fights. If Julio comes to slug it out, I see him getting streched in like the 5th. But if he trys to box and fight from the outside, he'll make to the later rounds but I still see him getting layed out.
