It's funny, but even though I don't like K-9's style and I kind of like The Love Child, I'll probably end up pulling for K-9 because he's a Detroiter.
I agree man, K9 is a cool dude i've met him a lot at various places and we're pretty cool now.Tough fight for him though.
I never met him before. It's good to hear he's a good guy. You're right, this will be a tough fight for him. Joel has looked pretty good his last couple of bouts, including that win at Cobo here in Detroit a while back.
No offense man but even K-9 could be my next door neighbor and an organ donor, I'd still have a raging hard-on to see him brutally KTFO. :yep
Well we're in total agreement about his "style". And personally I don't see how he was the 'underdog' on the Contender. In terms of talent, sure he was lightyears behind the rest of the pack. But in boxing, there are weight divisions for a reason. Clark and Wright are each 10x more talented p4p, but physically he is humongous in comparison to both. Rafael Marquez would probably lose to Eric Esch, dig? And before you say how unfair an exaggeration that is, look at the dude's body. Easily a natural MW or even SMW. Wright is a welter at best and Clark is back at his normal fighting weight of 140. Also, the hard-life thug thing was obnoxious, whether he was faking it or not. Likewise, the religious thing was obnoxious, whether he was faking it or not. Just about everything about him annoyed me. If it was a 'persona' he put on for the camera, then he's a fake little *****. If it wasn't, then he is truly a complete *****. And, based on his very limited ability and apparent unwillingness to even try to develop, completely undeserving of such high rankings. I will be thrilled to see him drop into obscurity and begin a long career as a run-ragged opponent.
I don't think Julio will ever be as good as Dan Raphael and others pimped him out to be, but I think he stops K-9 cold.
