He'll get destroyed by anyone with above average boxing ability and a little power.

get real man. Quintana who has above average boxing ability barely beat him in a competetive matchup (and this was when julio was 'thrown to the lions' when he wasnt ready for it - terrible management move), and Ishe lost to him who has above average boxing ability. And please dont give me that **** that Ishe beat him, he was running the whole fight. There is nothing indicating his chin or heart is suspect. His body might be a lil soft though.

"And a little power" Quintana and Ishe have none. You couldn't get Ishe to fight if you raped his mother in front of him in between rounds. Joel Julio has good power, great power maybe, but not much esle. He was getting tagged by that Varela's jab all night. Granted, he was knocking him down in every round with nearly every clean punch landed so maybe he decided to forgo defense. And you couldn't even consider that a jab, it was basically him pawing him, snapping Julio's head back. No defense at all.

Julio reminds me of a power man's version of Tito. Except with a lot less boxing ability.

Julio has less EVERYTHING than Tito had. Less power, skill, speed, defense, everything.

Julio can win a belt if they match him right. I'd pick him over Verno Philips, and he'd be a dangerous fight for Angulo, or Kirkland.

They should keep him FAR away from Daniel Santos though, and even from Cory Spinks as well.

julio has way better defense than what he showed last night and what people are saying on here. Its like you said, he forgoed his defense. anyways, time will shut these haters up. Viva Colombia!

he would trash spinks man. Santos would be tough and I hope we get to see it. And as far as comparisons to tito, julio has better defense.

Can't see him beating Spinks, Joel likes to be set when he throws, Spinks would keep him turning and moving the whole fight.

I think you need to watch some tapes of a prime Tito. He was no defensive wiz, but his defense was decent. Julio has NO defense.
