Joel Julio's management team is very dumb for accepting a fight with Sergiy Dzinziruk

Well...Julio needed to step up. Albiet a very tough and risky fight...one that I don't think he'll win, but as a POWER puncher he has a chance and this is the kind of fight he needed in order to get back on track after loosing his initial fight....he's looked solid but not an Elite level guy.

I like Julio but Dzinziruk is the most underrated champ out there.

Dzinziruk on Pts or late KO.

Julio was just a kid when he was rushed into the Quintanna fight. The way he held himself against Ishe Smith shows he's made great improvement. I'm picking Julio to dominate and stop Dzinziruk.

Sergei has been fighting guys a little soft for a minute... His last fight was a bit of a wake up call... Julio is probably a step up from most of the fightes that he fought since winning the title....

I'm not so sure Sergei has been in there with a guy who has power like Joel... However, it wouldnt be a shock if Sergei outboxes Joel in this fight...

If the fight ends early from something that not cut related, it'll be Julio who has his hands raised... If it goes the distance, you go with Sergei... I'll wait til the fight happens to make a pick... I'm slowly siding with Sergei.. His last fight was a tough one against a tough guy and he nearly lost his belt... He may put on the best performance of his career against Joel...

    Courtesy of ESPN...

Julio took the fight instead of an opportunity to face Sergio Martinez for an interim 154-pound title in California in an HBO "Boxing After Dark" main event Oct. 4. Instead of earning about $125,000 to fight Martinez on HBO, he'll make $69,000 (25 percent of the winning bid) to go overseas for a fight that does not have an American TV outlet.

Yeah, brilliant decision by the Julio team.

    Because...

    1.) Julio is fighting overseas
2.) Julio's opponent is essentially fighting in his hometown, which increases the chance that Julio absolutely needs a knockout to win
3.) Julio would've made $125,000 fighting Martinez for an interim belt; now he's going to make $69,000 fighting Dzinziruk
4.) Julio's team rejected a fight that would've featured their fighter on HBO; so far no US television outlet is set to broadcast his fight with Dzinziruk

It's really not rocket science... If you can't see that Julio's team ****ed up, then your judgment is abysmal.

dzinziruk got a gift decision over lucas konecny last time out.........so julio has a small chance.

but dzinziruk has a good chin and i dont see julio winning a decision. Not in germany.
