Usyk was never ever going to fight a killer on his HW debut, let's be realistic for a moment.

 

Ffs Joey Dawejko is a 5’10 sparring partner with a 35% KO ratio and a loss to the God that is Charles Martin. One tweet and he’s suddenly being portrayed as a bogeyman on here.

I’m sure Hearn would’ve sent out a dozen contracts overnight to nail down a last minute opponent for Usyk. At least they’ve picked an experienced 6’4 heavyweight in Witherspoon with a 71% KO ratio.

 

It seems like Ruiz would vacate. Depends on how ****y Hearn is with Joshua if he’s champ; that could go either way. Cashing out Joshua against Wilder would make more business sense.

Usyk's had a full camp. And it's not like Dawejko is remotely in shape or anything like that. He's a 5'10" journeyman for God's sake.
