    Giardello would have fought Burley in his era...He fought everyone.

    Joey Giardello could pull this one off, so i'll go with the unlikely outcome and say Giardello by SD. Burley would probably win though.

    Burley was one of the most avoided fighters of his time. He beat the great Archie Moore in 1944 among many others. I think it might have been Moore who said Burley was the best he ever faced. I'm not sure if he and robinson ever fought. Anyway, for me its Burley all the way in this fight. Giardello was excellent but Burley was on another level above him.
