A matchup I haven't thought about before...two exquisite 15 round craftsmen...for the middleweight title..'63 Giardello and '66 Griffith.
'69 your mother. OH!..GIGGIDY On a serious note i'd pick Griffith all day, who i believe possessed those extra physical gifts that put a fighter in the highest echelon and proved his worth against superior opposition
Giardello did much better against straight forward aggressive fighters, and could maybe be picked to outpoint anyone who came forward, or give them alot of trouble, due to styles. Griffith doesn't present that to Giardello...Griffith's mobility and higher workrate would earn him the decision in a close tactical fight.
