So what's your call? Somehow Iran Barkley materializes in 1964 in a ring opposite the ring wizard Joey Giardello to challenge for the world middleweight championship.
The bout is scheduled for 15 rounds...as though I really had to mention that. "Championship" was the clue as to the distance of the bout for all those uninitiated.

At MW, Joey G. easily out-points Barkley. (Joey unfortunately is overlooked these days)

giardello schooled Rubin carter, who posed similar threats as Barkley did. only was Rubin a better fighter imo.

Barkleys only Chance would be a one Punch ko…...but giardello was crafty and had a rock hard chin. giardello by wide du.

I was just watching Giardello vs Tiger 3 & 4, and think that Giardello (if focused and trained) should win a decision. The problem was Joey was horribly managed and inconsist in training and prep.

Barkley would be a dangerous larger/stronger opponent and Giardello would need to be very crafty to take this...at thier very best I think he does, but splitting the fights like he and Tiger did is a real possibility as well.
