Joey Giardello by UD De La Hoya, at middleweight, does not fare well against great fighters such as Giardello. De La Hoya arguably lost to Felix Sturm and Joey Giardello was twice the boxer and twice the fighter Sturm is.
Agreed. Giardello would bewitch, frustrate and bamboozle Oscar pretty much all night long. He'd trot out all of his tricks that he picked up over the years and yoyally outbox and outfox Oscar. No knockout, or even any knockdowns, but a wide unanimous 15 round decision with Oscar fading badly in the last 3 rounds.
Middleweight is too high in the weights for Oscar to be taking on this calibre of opponent. Not even worth thinking to hard about.
