-He probably belongs in the top 25 P4P.

-Yeah, that you are being sarcastic and a bit of dick again. Which I'm growing bored with.

-I challenged you on your assumption that "Loughran dusts Maxim" and it boils down to Maxim losing to "Fandabbydozy" LHWs Charles and Marshell.

    -I'm out.

Disagree strongly. I ranked him in the low eighties, I think.

It's hard for me to understand what this is in reference to because of the way you break up your posts, but to me this is just a salty exchange, and nothing to worry about (for the record). You come across as "a bit of a dick" yourself, but I don't take it personally.

1 - It wasn't an assumption, it was a question, with a question mark at the end. I posted it in the hope I would be challenged. If it was an assumption, I wouldn't have posted it, just assumed it.

2 - It doesn't boil down to the Marshall fight and if you were paying attention you would know that (unless this is a little joke).

3 -I don't think I mentioned the Charles fight at all, it was you

This part of your post seems rather unhinged, which may have led that top 25 p4p claim?

I'm sad that you got so upset, and just because I think your arguments are **** there's no need to abandon them. In fact, we were picking them off just fine as we went along (I thought). It was good, I thought.

It is POSSIBLE that Calzaghe beats Maxim, he was fast, very busy, unotherdox and hit hard enough to keep Joe honest, but I'd favour Maxim.
I'm not sure what you guys are debating anymore, so a question for ye both, Is Maxim a op 100 all-time Hw?
I haven't a current list but on resume I think he squeezes in, perhaps misses out on H2H.
    Where do ye put him?

Yes, I would say he makes it in. Bottom quarter I think.

I Don't think he could beat Greb, probably not Gibbons, probably Miske, Norfolk, maybe even Conn? Byrd too perhaps, could he -heresy- beat Bob Foster?

I would say so, maybe the bottom tier of the top 100.

I'm not upset, there is just nowhere else to go on this. We aren't budging on the matter and talking **** won't change that.

So pretty near concensus as I'd put Maxim 80-100 also. Any objectors?

Yes, that's fine, I hope you haven't taken it personally.

Agree. Firming things up a bit i'd say around 85. I'd have him "with" fighters like Choynski, Tucker, Hamas. Above John Henry Lewis, Larry Gains?

Yeah, I'd have him behind Machen, Folley and Terrell but ahead of Cleveland Williams and Chuvalo.
