Maxim v. Williams for 12 (or 15) rounds during their respective primes. How does this fight play out?
I think you are in funny mood but okay. I think Williams because he looked decent against the unbeaten Holmes.
While Maxim's legacy towers over the forgettable Truth's, Carl had a jab that was arguably as good as even the best of them. That coupled with his height, reach and powerful right hand and I think he might pull this one off.
I'm picking The Truth, both were left jab merchants, and Williams has the length and reach on Maxim ,plus Joey did not have power ,so I can't see him overcoming his physical disadvantages here.
Can see it been quite a easy fight for the truth tbh. Maxim can't really hurt him, they'll be no mike weaver style ko here. Just Carl whip in the jab in to joey's face all night. Carl wins, 12 rounds out of 15.
Maxim beat a few bigger guys. His most noteworthy win over a larger guy being the RING rated Olle Tandberg who was 6'3" and weighed 208. Footage of Tandberg is limited. But in big time fights, he loved having a size advantage. He's the type of guy, who today wouldn't bother with heavyweights, I could see him coming in at 180 on fight night against middles and super welters.
