This fight is 50-50 imo but gun to my head I'd go with Maxim on points. Thoughts?

I have to go with Saad. While Maxim was a true warrior, he wasn’t as consistent and Eddie was a beast

Maxim wasn't only tough but he was an excellent Boxer and extremely stiff puncher. He took Freddie Mills to pieces when he won the Title. He also had a real brick chin. He was only ever stopped once. Add to that the fact that he could live with the Heavyweights too although he didn't have many wins against them he had an early career win over Floyd Patterson and went the distance with Ezzard Charles.
Eddie shares many qualities with Maxim. Good Boxing basics, stiff jab and punched hard enough to stop over three quarters of his opponents. Also in common with Joey, he wasn't demolished by Heavyweights and took a Renaldo Snipes to a split decision.
This is a good fight for the purists. Lots of correct punching and high levels of orthodox skills. Maxim had an unbreakable engine and that might just tip the scale.
Maxim on a wafer thin decision.
