Is this guy the biggest underachiever in the UK , his career seems to move at a really slow pace Everyoen used to hype about this guy , and how he was gonna be a world champ, Bellew said Selkirk was more talented than himself, etc etc how he looks world class in the gym I have seen glimpses of that talent, but thats all its been , just flashes. Most of the time he hasn't impressed He's only had 11 fights in 5 years as a pro when he gonna step up or fight more regularly, it would be good if he fought the liam smith/ochieng winner
Mate I'm from Liverpool and all I have heared for the past few years is how good Joe Selkirk is going to be, and how he is going to be this and do that. Every time I have actually seen him box I have been less than impressed, he has looked average against journeymen. I think he has a bad record with hand injuries and is very low down on Frank W****n's list of prioritories. He's no spring chicken also, think he's pushing 30. I wish him all the best and he has a decent win against Steve O'Meara but he definately needs to push on...
